HISTORY
Breaking glass, guns cocking, an inhuman shriek, it was all a blur. One second his feet were touching the ground, and the creature was choking him. The next, he felt the impact of the breaking window, and an increasing pressure on his windpipe. The Creeper was flying, taking him back to some psycho skin house to steal his eyes. To put chemicals in his veins, and string him up on a new wall, like Kenny & Darla. But Trish, Trish was safe. There would be no screaming in the dark, no Jeepers Creepers song for her. He had to concentrate on that positive thought, and hope for a quick death.

The next thing he knew, he was opening his eyes to sunlight. He had awoke in the island's jungle, unsure of where he was or even if he was still alive. Calling out hello as he wandered around the trees, he began to lose hope.

Six months later, Darry finally settled into a daily schedule. A little fishing, a little gathering, a little talking to his imaginary sister. Because that's what Trish had to have been all this time, his imagination. The whole incident with the creeper, and everything leading up to the island must have all been a fantasy. Like on television where the person finally wakes up after all those years, just to find out they've been in a coma. Dreaming that their life was continuing, when really they were just asleep.

But if his family had been imaginary, then the television must have been imaginary. No, particles moving through wires, producing images all around the world. It couldn't be. Technology was a stick, and Darry was it's master.

The sound that sounded like an airplane crashing into his island? Must also be his imagination. He could only hope the imaginary people would be bringing him an imaginary television, it would certainly help pass the time.
